Measuring Tips: Only use a metal tape measure when measuring for window treatments.
Verticals:
Outside Mount: Start by measuring the Width first (molding to
molding) and add Six inches. Then measure the Height (molding to molding)
and add Three inches. *Note: If Sill is wider than 1
½ inches it is recommended that you measure up to the Sill only.
Inside Mount: In order to mount a vertical blind inside,
your window must have at least 2 to 3 inches in depth. Start by measuring
the Width first (top, middle, and bottom) go with the smallest size. Then
you measure the Height (left, middle, and right sides) go with the smallest
size.
Mini
Blinds & Shades:
Outside Mount: The best way to mount Mini Blinds & Shades
is on the Molding to avoid extension brackets which leaves gaps and will
need some type of top treatment to cover the brackets. Start by measuring
the Width first (molding to molding) * if your window has a sill that
is wider then the molding go with that measurement, if not add ½
inch to the width. Then measure the Height (molding to molding) * If your
window has a sill measure to the sill only, if not add ½ inch to
the height.
Inside Mount: In order to mount Mini Blinds & Shades
inside you window must have at least 1 to 3 inches in depth depending
on the shade. Start by measuring the Width first (top, middle, and bottom)
go with the smallest size. Then you measure the Height (left, middle,
and right sides) go with the smallest size.
Woven
Woods & Wood Blinds:
Outside Mount: The best way to mount Woven Woods & Wood Blinds
is on the Molding to avoid extension brackets which leaves gaps and will
need some type of top treatment to cover the brackets. Start by measuring
the Width first (molding to molding) and go with the exact size. Then
you want to measure the Height (molding to molding) and add ½ inch.
Inside Mount: In order to mount Woven Woods & Wood
Blinds inside your window must have at least 1 ½ to 3 inches in
depth. Start by measuring the Width first (top, middle, and bottom) go
with the smallest size. Then you measure the Height (left, middle, and
right sides) go with the smallest size.
Guarantees: Creative Verticals Plus guarantees all of there products for as long as you own it. If you remove the window treatment and bring it to the factory we will repair it free of charge. If we have to make a service call there will be a $30.00 charge and in some cases labor ($15 Hour). Verticals tracks will be repaired the same day. Recording shades and blinds can take up to 3 business days. You must call the factory for any other problems so we can order the parts in advance. * Note: Cordless Wood Blinds & Cellular shades have to be sent out to the manufacturer.
Repairs: We repair and record Mini Blinds, Wood Blinds, Shades and Verticals. We also sell replacement vanes and replacement tracks for vertical blinds if there old and discontinued.
